About Sailor

Sailor! Sailor, at times referred to as Becky with the great hair, IYKYK, is a recent new arrival to us. She was a commercial breeder cast off, although we truly don't know why, but their loss could be your gain. She is listed as a mini golden doodle, and one look at that great hair seems to back it up. Our vet estimated her to be 3-5 years old, and she is approx 30 lbs. Due to her history of being a mill type dog any prospective adopters should be prepared to introduce Sailor to living in a home as a loved pet, and all the finer things in life that come with it. She will need work on housebreaking and leash walking and just generally being a dog. The upside is you get to be right beside her for all of her exciting 'firsts' and celebrate along with her! Sailor is already a pretty outgoing dog with new people, given her history, and we think she will flourish in a new home pretty quickly. She is also great with other dogs and would love a dog friend, or could be your one and only. Cats are unknown at this time, but we can cat test her for an approved applicant. Sailor's adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations to date, and microchipping. She has tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases and is up to date on preventatives.
