Bertie is a 5-month-old bully mix who came into rescue as an owner surrender, but this sweet girl hasn't let that change her outlook on life. In fact, Bertie's entire personality can be summed up in one word: happy. This girl is sunshine wrapped in puppy wrinkles. Everyone who meets Bertie falls in love with her because she is just that special. She greets people with a happy heart, loves attention, and is always ready to make a new friend. Bertie loves her chew toys (and we mean LOVES them). She's still a puppy, so a good chew bone is basically her version of a spa day. Her foster family says she enjoys them so much that she gets a new one regularly because watching her happily chew away is just too adorable. She's also an amazing little social butterfly. Bertie does great with other dogs and loves to play, including meeting her foster family's dogs. She's respectful, playful, and brings the cutest little play bows to every interaction. She's also done wonderfully with cats, mostly just coexisting with them and letting them do their own thing. Bertie is wonderful with children and has enjoyed adventures around the yard with four little girls. She loves exploring, sniffing every little thing, and taking in all the important puppy information the world has to offer.
