Aprox. 2-1/2 years old. Recently neutered male (still adjusting). Current on shots. We were told he is a purebred pit bull, but we have no proof. He looks to be mixed, but unsure. Lives with a female dog and 3 cats. Has never been around kids. Is selective with strangers. Rehoming because in the last year, we experienced a major life change, and since then he is left alone for long days and he is starting to exhibit behavior while unattended. He is also becoming quite territorial over 'his space' when people come over. I believe this may be an onset of separation anxiety and being left to 'man the house' all by himself. It is not fair for him to be neglected in this way and we feel he would be better in a home with more freedom, more exercise, and more attention. Shows aggression around his food. He attacked the other dog when she got too close at feeding time. Since then, we always feed him in a separate room for his comfort as well as the safety of our other pets.
