This handsome boy is about 1 year old, is on the smaller side at only 49 pounds, and was brought to the shelter as a stray just over 3 weeks ago. We can't believe he's already out of time ���� We've only had him out once, but he didn't disappoint. He was friendly, fun, and really enjoyed his time out. He chased a toy a few times, accepted pets, including rolling over for belly rubs, and worked on his commands for treats. He's a young, active pup with his whole life ahead of him. We hope someone can save his life! Harry has been in playgroup 8 times since arriving. He's described as tolerant with a gentle & dainty play style. He mingles, keeps to himself, but will also have bouts of play. Playgroup staff also noted he's affiliative with people, but can be jumpy and mouthy at times. Harry is euth-listed for negative kennel behavior observed by supervisors (barking/growling/lunging). He will be put to sleep on MONDAY 8/17 anytime after 8AM. He's available for foster, adoption, and rescue. He's just a baby! Please help him get to safety! Harry is waiting at South Los Angeles Shelter. *The shelter is closed to the public on Mondays, so adoptions/fostering must be done by Sunday 5pm. Otherwise you must email and ask if they'll hold him until Tuesday, or find a rescue to pull him for you by Monday morning.
