Ginny's Story Age: 2 years Weight: 40 lbs (small, petite female) About Ginny Ginny is a gentle, petite young GSP who came to us with her sister Maeve, who is also available for adoption. She arrived in rough shape but has blossomed quickly in foster care. She's sweet, curious, people-oriented, and ready to grow even more in a new environment. She's a great dog with tons of potential and will really shine with continued training and support. What Ginny Loves -Being close to her people for cuddles -Exploring the yard and sniffing -Watching bugs, grasshoppers, and anything that moves -Learning and exploring Training & Home Skills -Housebroken -Crate-trained (settles after a few minutes) -Slow, polite eater -No food or toy aggression -Jumps into the car and is working on relaxing. -Still working on basic commands knows stay and No (sit, heel, recall) Dog Interactions -Likes most other dogs, can be bossy. -Came in with her sister Maeve -Has been around medium and large dogs -Does well with dogs who share her energy level Kids Met several small children (5-6 years old) and was appropriate and curious Ideal Home Ginny will thrive in a home that: -Has a physical fence (preferred) -Has a dog with a similar energy level (Ginny currently has two speeds: ON and OFF) -Enjoys an active household -Can provide continued training and structure -Understands young GSPs who are still learning the world -Has no cats Ginny is ready for a new environment where she can blossom, gain confidence, and show her full potential.
