About Foxy Fritz

Foxy Fritz is a 6-year-old, 8-pound Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix with a sweet personality, long little legs, and a smile that deserves its own fan club. Those teeth? Perfection. We will be accepting no criticism at this time. Foxy can be timid when she first meets someone and may be nervous about new things, but once she decides you're safe, she is an absolute love bug. She enjoys being petted, loves attention from the people she trusts, and has a wonderfully calm, easygoing personality. Her greatest passion in life may be treats. Hand Foxy a treat and she'll grab it before scampering away like she has just successfully completed an elaborate jewel heist. Apparently snacks taste better when you believe they were obtained illegally. Most of the time, Foxy is a pretty relaxed girl, but she has occasional bursts of zoomies, especially when her foster gets home from work. She's also perfected a rather impressive long-legged stretch every time she goes potty. We don't know why. It's simply part of the Foxy Fritz experience. Foxy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and settled in easily with the dog in her foster home. She's a good eater and would be happiest with someone who will give her a little patience while she adjusts, then happily accept all the love she has waiting underneath that initially cautious exterior. Foxy came into rescue heartworm positive and has since completed fast-kill heartworm treatment. She is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and fecal testing. She is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
