About Duke

This is Duke who is a 4-year-old chocolate lab pitbull mix that I rescued in Hawaii. I've had him for the last 3 years but due to recent financial problems and moving, I sadly need to rehome him. He is great with kids (I have a 10-month-old who he is gentle with) and adults but does get super excited when meeting new people. His only known allergy is chicken from what I have noticed and had him tested for. He is a snuggle bug and loves to cuddle up and receive scratches. He would do great in another home with another dog (preferably a bigger dog) and a yard. He does not like small animals and especially cats. He does good on a leash, but when he does get anxious or excited, he does sometimes try and bite the leash, but I have been working on that with him. He is missing a couple vaccinations that recently expired. He is kennel trained and potty trained.
