About Dixon

Meet Dixon! Dixon has had a difficult journey, but through it all, he has remained a sweet and loving little boy who simply wants someone to call his own. After being abandoned by the family who had him since he was a baby, Dixon was passed from foster home to foster home until someone finally stepped up and gave him the patience, stability, and love he desperately needed. Because of everything he has been through, Dixon has developed some separation anxiety. Thankfully, a little calming medication helps him tremendously and allows him to feel more secure. Dixon also struggles with allergies, which we believe may be worsened by stress. He takes a daily allergy medication that helps keep his skin comfortable and his coat looking its best. What Dixon really needs now is consistency, security, and a person who wont give up on him. He is an incredibly affectionate little guy who loves nothing more than snuggling up with his person and knowing they are nearby. Dixons dream home would be with someone who is home much of the day. A stay-at-home parent, retiree, or someone who works from home could be the perfect match for him. In return, Dixon promises plenty of cuddles, companionship, and unconditional love.
