About Violet

Meet Violet, a beautiful 5-year-old tortie with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Her owner recently reached out to us for help after her living situation changed and she could no longer give Violet the time and attention she deserves. Now, this sweet girl is looking for a new furever home where she can be someone's one and only. Violet is incredibly sweet, loyal, and people-oriented. She absolutely loves being around her humans and will happily follow you from room to room just to be part of whatever you're doing. And if there's an available lap? Even better! Violet loves nothing more than curling up with her person and soaking up all the attention she can get. True to her tortie nature, Violet has quite the personality! She knows what she wants, and what she wants is all the love for herself. She isn't particularly fond of sharing attention with other cats and can sometimes intimidate the kitties in her current home. Because of this, we think Violet would be happiest as the only cat, where she can finally enjoy being the center of someone's world. Violet has never been around dogs, so we aren't sure how she would feel about a canine companion. She also hasn't lived with children, but she absolutely loves people so we think she'd be fine. She is gentle and does not bite, aside from the occasional little 'love nip' when she's feeling extra affectionate. Violet is also carrying a few extra pounds, but don't worry-she's currently on a diet and working toward her summer body!
