About FERGUS AKA FLEX

Fergus aka Flex came to us originally from HSSA and unfortunately is being returned because his adopter is ill and is unable to continue to care for him. This boy is a bundle of fun and loves other dogs his size and is very playful for his age. He is 8-9 years old and 14-15 lbs. Fergus does great in daycare and would be best in a home that had a fenced yard he could roam in. He likes walks but he's slow because he must stop and sniff simply everything, however if he gets loose it's amazing how fast he can go. He could get along easily with another dog and does not seem to have prey drive toward cats. Fergus picked up the potty routine in his foster home using a dog door but also will wait to be let out. He is neutered, vaccinated, and chipped. Fergus also got a dental in the past 6 months and has no other known health issues at this time. Like many dogs he does not enjoy nail trims so might need to be muzzled. He tolerates brushing as long as you are gentle with knots. He is quite cuddly and likes to sleep on the bed but he's good in a crate, even a soft crate.
