About Walter

I am Walter, the 6-year old goofy guy who is looking for ways to entertain you and attach myself to your heart. I love to run full-speed across a room then jump on the couch to cover you with kisses and adorable looks of admiration. My loyalty is a large part of whom I am, and you will be the object of all my dedication. I get along with dogs, as I show no fear. Actually, what is fear? I have heard about it but don't know a thing about it. Vacuums, thunder, large dogs- no fear here! I am a bit aloof, but in the best way in that I am just living my best life and don't have any plans to let anything take my peace from me. I just have a happy soundtrack playing in my head all day that keeps me bubbly and peaceful. I don't bark, except when I think I have solved the latest murder mystery. I stop as soon as you let me know my detective days are long gone and I am in retirement. I'm great on a leash and excellent in the car. I arrived here after 30 hours in the car where I slept patiently and quietly. I looooove my toys and really engage with them to show them how much I appreciate them! Snort snort I go tossing them around and shaking my head with them in it. I am crate-trained and sleep perfectly still and quiet in there at night. I won't need to be in there forever, but since I was just neutered in June, I am still learning the skill of where to potty and where not to potty. Thank gosh I am such a smart boy and am learning so well. For the meantime, I'd do best with some structure to allow me to know where to go potty and that I can go regularly outside. This life is lovely, and I cannot wait to make it even lovelier once I find my love! If you think that is you, please reach out to my foster so we can meet!
