About Rasmus

Every time I rescue a dog I want to know their backstory. Rasmus's story is like something out of a movie. Rasmus was raised in a hoarder home in Apple Valley California with approx 19 other Malinois. On April 26th this year the couple that owned the home got into a domestic dispute, the wife stabbed the husband and after the husband escaped the home allegedly the wife set the home on fire. The wife along with 12 of the Malinois died in the fire. Rasmus and 7 of his siblings were rescued and taken to Apple valley shelter, where we were able to rescue him and his two siblings just hours before euthanasia . Rasmus is such an amazing dog, with so much gratitude, intelligence and love for life, despite having lived most of his in a cage. He is such a sweet boy who has seen so little in the world, we are hoping that an adopter who wants to make up for lost time and give him the life and love he deserves is right around the corner.
