About Zola

Hey everyone! My name is Zola. ��ե Unfortunately, I'm looking for a new home, again. Before anybody starts assuming the worst, let me clear a few things up. I'm not being rehomed because I'm mean, naughty, destructive, or secretly running a criminal enterprise out of the living room.���� The truth is much simpler. I live with a cat, and while I don't hate cats, I am a little TOO interested in them. ���'���%90� You see, I'm a Rottweiler, and way back in the day my ancestors were working dogs that helped move and herd livestock. ��%90� We weren't just sitting around looking pretty (although I'm very talented at that too). We were bred to drive cattle��%90� , move stock, and help farmers get the job done. So when something small and furry runs across the room, my brain �٤%A0 sometimes says, 'EXCUSE ME, WHERE ARE WE GOING?' ��լ The cat would really prefer that I stop supervising its every move. �٪� So while I can coexist with cats, everyone agrees I'd be happiest in a home where I don't have one to obsess over all day. Life would just be easier for everyone involved. ���� Now that we've addressed the feline elephant ��%90� in the room, let me tell you about ME. I'm a sweet, loving girl who adores my people. �%9D%A4��%8F I love being part of the family, hanging out wherever you are, and making sure nobody has to go to the bathroom alone. I enjoy walks, toys, snacks, naps, attention, snacks, belly rubs, and did I mention snacks? ��%8D�nI'm smart, eager to learn, and always ready to be involved in whatever my humans are doing. Whether we're going on an adventure or having a lazy day on the couch, I'm just happy to be included. �٪�I have a goofy side too. Sometimes I get the zoomies. Sometimes I make weird noises when I'm excited. Sometimes I stare at you like you're the most fascinating thing I've ever seen.
