About Nova *special girl

This special girl named Nova is lucky to be alive. She was rescued by a concerned neighbor who was aware that she was living in a crate 18 hrs a day and not being properly cared for. Luckily, they were able to get custody and she is being fostered by this family. Nova was just spayed and vaccinated so she is ready for adoption. The foster family has been amazed by Nova's progress and she seems to have overcome being neglected in the past. Here is more information about Nova. Name: Nova Age : ~1 Breed : Chow mix Size : Medium, around 20# Medications : none House / crate trained : crate trained, not fully house safe Social : good with kids, cats. Mostly good with other dogs. Energy : Active but manageable Currently fostering Nova after removing her from a house where she was crated 18+ hours a day. She has been great with our children and neighbors, totally ignores our cat, and usually plays well with our much larger puppy. She is somewhat skittish of men and can get overwhelmed with our puppy at times. She prefers to go outside to potty but does not know to indicate when she needs to go. She knows sit and come.
