About Franklin

Franklin is a 10YO Terrier mix who has mastered the art of taking life at his own pace. Franklin came to us with a microchip, but sadly, his family has not reclaimed him. Now, this sweet senior is hoping someone will give him the peaceful retirement he deserves. He's a calmly independent guy who is perfectly content to walk around and do his own thing. He walks perfectly on leash with zero pulling, although he prefers a slow stroll to a brisk walk. He's happy to accept some pets along the way, but he won't let them interrupt his important business of casually exploring his surroundings. Franklin isn't interested in toys, and doesn't seem to know any tricks. What he seems to enjoy most is simply relaxing. He's a low energy guy who doesn't want a busy lifestyle or tons of entertainment. At Franklin's age, it should be no surprise that he's got some medical stuff going on. He has cataracts, a stilted gait, and pants anytime he's being active. He's also missing some hair on his rump. He's been started on pain and anxiety medication to help. This sweet old man deserves a soft place to land where he can relax, take slow walks, sniff to his heart's content, and enjoy his golden years.
