Rocket is a sweet, snuggle-loving boy looking for his forever home due to an upcoming move with strict weight limits. He spent 6 months in a shelter before being saved, and despite a rough start, he is a loyal, gentle adventure buddy who adores car rides, tennis balls, and cuddles. Plus, he's a uniquely quiet Husky-no barking, just a soft howl for sirens! Important Details for Adopters: Back/Leg Injury & Space: Rocket has a past hind-leg injury that makes his lower back sensitive. He politely growls to say 'please give me space' if bugged, crowded, or touched on his lower back. He has never bitten or shown aggression-he's just a clear communicator. Kids & Pets: Fine around my 4-year-old, but doesn't care much for kids. Best in an adult home or with calm teens. Fine with other pets as long as they respect his boundaries. Initial Marking: Like many confident males in a new space, he may try to mark/spray initially if unsupervised. However, he listens amazingly well and easily stops with quick supervision and positive reinforcement during his first few days.
