About Leo

Hi, everyone, it's me, Leo! I'm a sweet 11.5 years young, 23lb gentleman and I've learned that life is pretty wonderful when you have a soft bed, a good ear scratch, a few treats�'�|and someone to hang out with. I'm a quiet, gentle, easygoing guy who loves people and gets along great with dogs of all sizes. Kids? Adults? People I've never met? I'm happy to meet everyone! I'm not really a lap dog, but I do believe in staying close to my person. You'll usually find me snoozing nearby, and if I decide I need some attention, I'll give your leg a little nose bump. That's Leo-speak for 'ear scratches, please.' Belly rubs are also highly encouraged. I'm housebroken, crate trained, good in the car, and pretty darn good on a leash. I love treats (and take them very politely!), learned 'sit' in just THREE tries, and my favorite toys are hard bones. I've also recently discovered the pool and I think I might like it (always with my safety vest on). You may remember that I came to FCCR earlier this year and I was in pretty rough shape. Thank you for all your prayers and donations..after two surgeries, tons of medicated baths, grooming and lots of TLC, I'm feeling great and ready for the best chapter yet.
