About Gianna-HEARTBROKEN!!!

The shelter is once again FULL, euthanizing many perfectly good doggies for lack of space!!! Which dogs are chosen is a crapshoot. Gianna arrived at the shelter on June 25th, as an owner surrender, is 1 year, 10 months old. She came in very much missing her family, was so, so afraid of the shelter environment, which is not surprising, considering the shelter can be a scary place, especially for heartbroken doggies. With the help & love of the volunteers, she is coming out of her shell and showing who she really is, which is a truly wonderful doggie. Gianna has a very good sit, takes treats gently, walks well on leash, PERFECT forehead wrinkles as can see, a playful, affectionate pup. Volunteer who has taken her out into the shelter yard, says she is a 'delight'. Has a leash test with another doggie at the shelter (female doggie), is interested, but very timid, probably due to environmental circumstances.
