About Tendi

Tendi is the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter. At just 11 months old and around 35 pounds, he's the perfect medium sized companion. He's easy to scoop up for a cuddle, yet athletic enough to join you on hikes, jogs, or any adventure you have in mind. This handsome boy is incredibly smart, eager to please, and happiest when he's with his people. Tendi is the definition of a Velcro dog. If you're looking for a loyal shadow who wants to be involved in everything you do, you've found him. Whether he's leaning in for affection, giving his signature hugs, or dramatically flopping onto his back demanding belly rubs, Tendi is always ready to make you smile. He's food motivated, enjoys spending time in his crate, walks beautifully on a leash, and already knows 'sit' and 'place.' He's still polishing his manners when greeting people, sometimes his excitement and jumping up gets the best of him. But he's a quick learner and eager to improve. He'll also need continued guidance with potty training as he settles into a consistent routine in his new home. Tendi adores people and has never met a stranger. Men, women, everyone is a new best friend. When it comes to other dogs, he loves to wrestle and play, especially with medium and large dogs. He has a hilarious play style and isn't shy about being vocal during playtime, so he'll do best with canine friends who enjoy rough and tumble fun. Despite his enthusiasm outside, he's wonderfully quiet and relaxed around the house. Because of his playful nature, Tendi would do best in a home without cats or petite/small dogs.
