About Gizmo

Life hasn't always been easy for this sweet boy. Before coming into rescue, Gizmo lost a leg in an unfortunate accident. Thankfully, he adapted remarkably well and never let having only three legs slow him down. Gizmo was adopted and enjoyed several happy years in a loving home. Unfortunately, when his adopter had to move into assisted living, they could no longer care for him, and family members were unable to take him in. Through no fault of his own, Gizmo found himself back in rescue once again. While he's probably a little confused about why his life changed, Gizmo is taking it all in stride. He has a laid-back personality and tends to accept whatever life throws his way. He's a sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys attention from his people and can often be found perched high on a cat tree, surveying his kingdom from above. Gizmo gets along well with respectful children and cat-savvy dogs. He also enjoys the company of other cats and loves snuggling up with his feline foster siblings. Because of this, he would likely be happiest in a home with a friendly cat companion. After everything he's been through, Gizmo deserves a family that will love him for the rest of his days.
