Needs: lots of love & attention, time to trust, regular grooming. Chewey is a lovable guy looking for his forever home! This affectionate boy adores cuddles and craves attention, often following you around the house to stay close. While he might not be interested in toys, he loves to run and jump, making playtime a joyful experience. After spending at least a month on his own, Chewey learned to trust a kind lady who finally caught him. Though his original owner was found, they realized they couldn't provide the life he truly deserves and decided to surrender him. Fortunately, the local shelter reached out to us, and we gladly welcomed him into our rescue. Chewey has an adventurous spirit and a love for exploring, so a secure fence is essential. If left alone, he might wander off in search of his favorite person. He's also a superstar at the grooming salon and enjoys being pampered. Chewey thrives in an environment where someone can be with him most of the time and shower him with love. He loves to snuggle up at night and prefers to have his person all to himself, though he can coexist with other dogs. We're still unsure about his feelings toward cats. If you have a secure fence, plenty of time, and a heart full of love, Chewey could be the perfect companion for you!
