About Lucy

Need to rehome this beautiful 5-year-old girl, Lucy, due to no fault of her own. Our workload demands more of our time; we are no longer able to provide the attention and exercise that dobies love. Purebred, but no papers. Some of her best qualities: ��%BC Does NOT: jump on people or furniture, lick, or mess with anything in the house. ��%BC When properly introduced to friends/family for the first time, they become fast friends. ��%BC She loves it when you sit on the floor and she can lay down beside you. She is happy to also just stand beside you for pets/rubs (turns into leaning against you). ��%BC Alerts when someone is on the property and/or at the door. (she loves it when the inside door is open and she can 'be on guard' via the glass storm door) ��%BC When on walks and other dogs bark, she looks at them and then continues walking without a return bark. She will do 'dog zoomies' in the backyard. She does greet backyard neighbor dogs with a bark, but stops when told to. ��%BC She is great with our grandkids (ages 7 and up and used to large dogs). ��%BC Can be left up to most of a day (when needed) and not have an accident in the house; nor mess with anything in the house. She is not crated and has free access to the whole house. ��%BC She loves to be brushed; doesn't mind nail trimming or baths. ��%BC She is good with car rides when necessary. ��%BC She knows basic commands, verbally and hand signals. She is use to a quieter atmosphere and has been the only pet in the home. Previous owner said she liked to play with her liter sister & other dogs when visiting her parents. Like most dogs - doesn't like fireworks; however, not bothered by thunder. She is current on shots, spayed and microchipped. We are asking $200.00 rehoming fee.
