About Sunshine

Meet Sunshine, a gorgeous 7-month-old longhaired calico whose name fits her sweet personality perfectly! This beautiful girl showed up crying outside someone's home in New Haven, desperately looking for help. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan heard her cries, brought her to safety, and reached out to Happily Furever After Rescue so we could help give Sunshine the fresh start she deserves. Despite everything she's been through, Sunshine is an incredibly sweet, playful, and gentle little girl. She enjoys spending her days playing, soaking up attention, and sitting by the window watching the world go by. Life on the streets wasn't always kind to Sunshine. She was attacked by other cats while trying to survive outside, and because of those experiences, she is understandably fearful of other kitties. With continued patience, love, and positive exposure, she may become more comfortable over time, but for now, we believe Sunshine would be happiest as the only pet in her home, where she can finally feel completely safe and secure. Her adoption fee is $275, and Sunshine is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed.
