Two Sisters, Lily, a Blue Heeler, and Rosie, whose coat is red. These girls are between two and three years old, date of birth not available. They were rescued when their owner, who had obtained them as puppies, died.. They have been living as indoor dogs with their rescuer for the past year. They are happy, energetic dogs, who need outdoor activity, but are not acclimated to living outdoors in harsh weather conditions, heat or cold. They are good guard dogs. They have been exposed to other dogs, male and female, and are curious, but friendly, after a time of introduction. The owner prefers they be adopted together but will consider separating them. They need a situation where they will have activity and human interaction, with access to outdoor time, especially the opportunity to run and play. They are bred as working dogs, but are not trained to work. They would not be content to be left alone for many hours at a time.
