About Luna

Meet Luna ��Ϊ Luna is a sweet, curious, energetic 9-month-old girl born October 31, 2025. Our best estimate is that she is an American Staffordshire Terrier type/Great Dane mix. Luna has a personality of her own. She can happily do her own thing, but when she wants affection, she loves being close to her people. She is playful, loving, extremely food motivated, and always curious about what's going on around her. She's also our sneaky little investigator. If Luna gets bored, she will find something to entertain herself, so she would thrive with someone who can provide toys, puzzles, exercise, enrichment, structure, and continued training. Her love of food should also make training rewarding for her. Luna has primarily been an indoor dog and has grown up around her parents and littermates. Recently, she developed conflict with one female littermate, and they are now kept completely separated. Because of this, introductions to other dogs should be slow, controlled, and supervised. She is currently behind on vaccinations, but we are working toward getting them started as we prepare her for a new home. We're looking for a safe, loving, permanent home where Luna can finally receive the individual attention and experiences she deserves. Luna's $100 rehoming fee will go directly toward caring for her remaining siblings while we continue finding them loving homes, including helping with vaccinations, food, supplies, and other rehoming expenses. �s%A0��%8F PLEASE NOTE: Luna has not had enough exposure to children for us to confidently say how she behaves around them. This does not mean she is aggressive toward children; we simply do not have enough experience to know. Any introduction to children should be slow, controlled, closely supervised, and at Luna's comfort level, especially while she adjusts to a new home.
