About Chapito (Kennewick WA)

Journey Home Rescue is looking for a loving foster to help us welcome Chapito into rescue! Chapito is a sweet little 11yo Shih Tzu mix who is ready for a fresh start. His owner reports that he can be a bit grumpy with new people and unfamiliar dogs and may show some mild resource guarding. However, during his initial meet-and-greet, Chapito was calm, indifferent, and didn't seem bothered by anything. We look forward to getting to know his true personality once he's in a safe and loving foster home. Like many dogs who need a second chance, Chapito has a few things on his to-do list. He will need: ��%90%BE A much-needed grooming ��%90%BE A possible dental evaluation ��%90%BE His veterinary care completed Before we can bring Chapito into Journey Home Rescue, we need a committed foster home. By opening your home, you'll give him the opportunity to decompress, receive the care he needs, and prepare for his forever family.
