Diesel is a lover boy looking for his forever home. Diesel was surrendered by his previous owner who had intended to breed him. My health and work and home situations have changed dramatically since I took him in this April. Due to unemployment, I have been unable to get Diesel to a veterinarian for vaccination and/or surgery to have him fixed. He adjusted to being the Beta to my Alpha Labrador male, but he most enjoys the company of his foster sister Susie. Susie is on her way to her forever home and I fear that Diesel and Tucker will not become best buds in her absence. Diesel is crate trained and isn't the destructive member of the pack. He gets along with adults and lived with numerous children, including a toddler. He is indifferent to my cats. He has poor manners walking and tugs on leash and becomes reactive to other dogs. My prior cancer surgery and ongoing chemo make it physically difficult to rein in his strength and practice walking. He has shown no signs of aggression and has no bite history. He knows basic commands and responds to his name being called. He is looking for his final destination with a home full of strength, patience and love. 17701 Williamsport area
