About Willie

Willie is a 6-year-old, very handsome mutt. According to his doggy DNA test, he is a Shepherd-Pit mix. We have made the heartbreaking decision to rehome him after he bit his owner unexpectedly. Willie is potty trained and exceptionally well-behaved indoors. He doesn't counter surf, chew things he shouldn't, get into the trash, or otherwise cause trouble around the house. He loves going for walks, playing tug with his toys, cuddling on the couch, and treats (whipped cream is his favorite). Willie can be goofy and playful, but he is also perfectly happy to spend an afternoon lounging on the couch with you. He is a sweet, loyal dog who loves his people and has been a wonderful companion for six years. His biggest challenges are his reactivity toward other dogs on leash and his history of biting when he is uncomfortable or highly aroused. He will need an experienced owner who is physically capable of handling him safely on walks. Because of his bite history, Willie needs a child-free home.
