My name is Izzy. I am a female, black and brindle Mixed Breed mix. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 10 months old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 06, 2026. FOUND DOG - CITRUS SPRINGS. Do you recognize this beautiful girl? She was found on W. Nieman Dr. in Citrus Springs and is now at Citrus County Animal Services. She arrived with no microchip or other identification, so we're hoping someone recognizes her and can help us find her family. She is estimated to be 6 months-2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. While we don't know anything about her life before arriving, we're already learning quite a bit about her. She is a sweet, responsive girl who comes when called, takes treats gently and walks nicely on leash. Give her a little room to stretch those long legs and she also has fun running! And take a look at that gorgeous brindle coat - in the sunshine, she has beautiful bronze highlights. She has also spent time around other dogs at the shelter. She allowed appropriate greetings and showed no assertive behavior, although she seemed somewhat nervous in the play yard and was more interested in the exits than in playing. So far, she appears dog social, but she may simply need time to feel secure before we see more of her personality. If she is not reclaimed by her owner, she is expected to become available for adoption on August 11th. If you recognize her, please let her family know where she is.
