Meet Vashti! Vashti is an amazing, sweet, and loyal Belgian Malinois looking for a dedicated forever home. She originally joined our family while we were serving on active duty in the Air Force. Heartbreakingly, we are looking to rehome Vashti due to unforeseen life changes. A recent shift away from remote work, combined with changes in our family's health circumstances, means we can no longer provide her with the extensive daily exercise, attention, and mental stimulation that a brilliant working breed like hers requires. Personality & Needs: Vashti is a true Malinois-she is incredibly high-energy, driven, and loves to be engaged. Because we are currently unable to redirect her energy appropriately, she has been trying to initiate play with our older, senior dog who prefers to be left in peace. Vashti has a confident temperament with some female dominance, so she would absolutely thrive in an environment where she can be the center of attention as an only pet, or in a household with male dogs. The Ideal Adopter: Vashti's perfect match is an active individual or family who understands the needs of the Malinois breed. She needs an environment where someone has the time to attend to her, give her structured exercise, and provide her with an outlet for her energy.
