It's me, Ernest! ��%90%BE��%BDThe spunky little terrier sprite you've been eyeing. ���%81�'�%8D����%8F I'm 8 years old, 22 lbs of pure terrier fabulousness, neutered, vaccinated, kennel trained, and officially accepting applications for my forever family. I'm a pretty simple guy. Give me a sunny backyard, some quality time with my people, a good neighborhood walk, and-most importantly-SNACKS, and we're going to get along just fine. ���%8F I'm playful, smart, curious, and have just the right amount of �Ϭspice�Ϭ. I know my basic cues, including SIT, DOWN, PLACE, and COME, and I'm always happy to show off for the right reward. I enjoy prancing around the yard, soaking up the sunshine, playing, and generally being an adorable little terrier. I'm also quite the gentleman when it comes to my canine roommates. ��%90 ��%BDI do well with other small dogs and I'm generally indifferent to bigger, calm dogs. Cats? ��%A4%90 Classified information.��%BDI know what I know, and I'm not talking. I can be a little cautious when meeting new people, so I need some time to decide if you're worthy of my trust. But once I've chosen you? Oh, buddy. You're MY person. �%9D%A4��%8F I have so much love to give and I form incredibly special bonds with my people. ��%8F� My Dream Home I'm looking for: ��%90%BE A couple or individual with dog experience��%BD��%90%BE Bonus points if you've survived a terrier before. �����%BD��%90%BE Someone who will give me daily exercise, playtime, and enrichment��%BD��%90%BE Another small, compatible dog could be a great fit��%BD��%90%BE A kid-free home, please��%BD��%90%BE Someone patient enough to let me build trust at my own pace �%9D%A4��%8F And this part is REALLY important... I'm not looking for someone who just wants to take me home and hope for the best. My trainer has created a behavior plan specifically for me, and I need my forever person to be willing, able, and patient enough to continue it. I'm working through some behavior challenges, but guess what? I'm doing REALLY well. ��Z� My trainer has invested a lot of time, thought, and effort into figuring out what helps me succeed-and I want to keep making those good choices in my forever home. I'm also learning to comfortably wear a muzzle for those pesky things called vet appointments. (Apparently I'm not allowed to simply tell the doctor what I think. �٪�) I'm not perfect. I'm a terrier. Perfection was never really on the table. ���� But I'm smart. I'm funny. I'm affectionate. I'm learning. And underneath all that terrier spice is a little guy who genuinely wants to be someone's best friend.
