About Dahlia

Dahlia is a beautiful shepard from a high kill shelter in CA. She was rescued just hours before she was due to be euthanized. Dahlia was surrendered by her former owner due to allegedly not getting along well with the owners small dog. (*Dahlia lives with many other dogs here at the rescue and has interacted with them all so well, even the 3 monthold puppies.) Dahlia is an etremely well behaved dog and she is very human focused. I would think this is due to her human surrendering her and her fear of it happening again. She seems very eager to pleased and also very upset/afraid to disappoint. Dahlia is such an amazing and brilliant dog that has been repeatedly failed by humans in the past. We are hoping that Dahlia is adopted by someone that will show her all the love and affection that she has not yet known in her life, and someone that will show her she is valued and safe and that she will never be abruptly abandoned again.
