About Simba

Meet this gentle giant, Simba! This handsome Great Pyrenees came to Big Floof Foundation after spending more than a month at Fort Worth Animal Care & Control. While he may be a big, fluffy boy on the outside, we quickly discovered that underneath all that floof is a sweet and sensitive soul. When we picked him up from the shelter, he was trembling with fear and uncertainty. The shelter environment had taken a toll on him, and as his stress levels continued to rise, he found himself on the euthanasia list through no fault of his own. Thankfully, he was given a second chance. Since joining Big Floof Foundation, he has absolutely blossomed. With patience, kindness, and a safe place to decompress, his true personality has emerged. He's a calm, gentle companion who enjoys the simple things in life-soft beds, quiet company, and knowing he's safe. Estimated to be 2-3 years old, this Great Pyrenees is heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and neutered. He has a kind nature that shines through in every interaction and a quiet presence that makes you instantly feel at ease. After everything he's been through, this deserving boy is ready for a forever family of his own-one that will give him the love, security, and happy ending he's waited so patiently for.
