About Ace *senior

This sweet 8 y/o gentleman was left behind when his 'owner' moved and ended up in a high-kill southern shelter where he was about to be euthanized solely for lack of space. Now in a foster home in ME, he's ready to leave his past behind and spend his golden years exactly where he belongs- in a home where he'll never have to wonder if he's wanted again. Despite the uncertainty he's faced, his heart is still full of love. He's a mellow, easygoing boy whose favorite place is curled up next to his person. A soft bed, gentle pets, and quiet snuggles are all he asks for. He is social with other dogs and was even tested with cats/kittens (he was timid and avoidant). We have videos of him upon request. The current fosters are older ladies who report that he is a strong boy (as to be expected of a mastiff mix even at 60 lbs.) and they have a LOT of indoor and outdoor cats who are taunting him and this seems to be a little too much for this big guy.
