About Luna Mae

I'm Luna Mae, a 5-year-old husky girl with gorgeous light blue eyes, about 70 pounds of fluff, and plenty of personality. I could stand to lose a few pounds, but hey-that just means there's a little more of me to love! I'm housebroken, non-destructive, and super sweet with my humans. I know sit and paw, and I'll even give you a high five! I LOVE toys and playing fetch-and get this: I actually bring the ball back! I'm also a typical vocal husky, so I'm always happy to tell you what's on my mind. I love walks, although I'm a big, strong girl who still needs some work on not pulling. I'm not a fan of my crate. I'm not afraid of it, but I will start whining after a few minutes�'�|I'd rather be with you! Good thing is, I'm not destructive when left alone. I've been good with children, and here's a surprise: I'm great with cats! I've with cats and I pretty much ignore them. I do need to be upfront about my canine preferences. No female dogs for me, please. I've had conflicts with the ladies, but I've done well with male dogs. I can also be protective of my food around other dogs, so I need to be fed separately�'�|my crate is great for that. Oh, and I'm working on this thing the humans call 'begging.' Personally, I call it being optimistic. I'm looking for a family who understands what I need and will love me for the sweet, playful, opinionated girl I am. Could that be you? Love, Luna Mae
