Gemma was born 6/1/26. She is working on house training and crate training. She is good with dogs, children and cats. Gemma is enrolled in the 'cell dog' training program to work on the basics. Cell dogs are with an inmate handler in the prison to work on basic commands, house and crate training. Each dog that comes out may have varying levels of training due to their personality and history prior to arriving at the rescue. You can apply on our website: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html The adoption fee includes deworming, spay at our vet's office (when of age), vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) and microchip with lifetime registration. *Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a puppy. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment from all family members. Thank you! ***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries. Please remember that we are 100 % entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion.
