About Poppy

Poppy is a Texas street dog special. Breed is a guess based off what was in her area when found and her looks. Fresh off the streets of the Rio Grand Valley at just 10 weeks she was rescued along with 4 siblings all with very different appearances. Some looked lab with a touch of Texas healer, some looked terrier and some like a combo of all 3. She could be healer, lab, Terrier but whatever her combo, she is gorgeous, sensitive, smart, and will be won over by a human that is patient, smart, sensitive, active, and settled. She needs a stable, energetic, mature home that will teach her how to be a confident housedog. At around 8 mo old, she and her sisters have has zero adoption interest and they are growing up in rescue. She is smart and will quickly learn the good life she can have with her new family. She has never been around children so idk if she will be good with them. She may be afraid if fast movements and tiny grabby hands. An adult home may be safer for her. She is going to be a great companion for someone. Please give her a chance. She is microchipped and on flea/heartworm prevention as well as all her other vetting/spay.
