Hamilton, Ohio (willing to drive up to 100 miles). 1.5 Y/O MALE GSD (DOB: 11/15/24). His name is 'Maverick.' Background: Current Shepherd Parent's son has had Maverick since he was weaned from a breeder. NOT UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs. Maverick currently lives with a 10-year-old Saint Bernard. Good with cats?: Unknown. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: No known medical issues disclosed. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: None disclosed. ENERGY LEVEL: High. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: High. Weighs 60 lbs. Currently on Diamond Beef & Rice food. Good with car rides?: No. Maverick becomes very anxious during car rides. Socialized with: People?: No. Maverick has not been socialized with people outside of his familiar home environment. Dogs?: No. He has not been properly socialized with unfamiliar dogs. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): Unknown. Maverick has never been properly socialized out in public, so introductions need to be slow, controlled, and handled appropriately. Loves: Treats, ice cubes, running, toys, playing fetch, balls, pig ears, spending time with his people, cuddling, playing with dogs he knows, being close to his person, chew toys, chew bones, and rope toys. Our son is unable to care for him like he used to and we work a lot and are unable to give him the attention he deserves- especially at his young age. He is high energy and needs someone who has the time and willingness to give him. He's beautiful and deserves to find his person/people.'
