About Sheina

Meet Sheina! Sheina is a gentle young girl with a heart as soft as her eyes. Born around 5/18/2024, this possible Kelpie/German Shepherd mix is still discovering just how big and wonderful the world can be-and she's looking for a special family willing to show her. Sheina has spent her life in a kennel environment and has never had the opportunity to experience what it's like to live inside a real home. Because of that, everyday things that most dogs take for granted may be completely new to her. She doesn't need someone who expects perfection-she needs someone with patiencr, love and a willingness to let her adjust at her own pace. With the right family beside her, we truly believe Sheina has everything she needs to thrive in a home of her own. A calm, quiet household would be the best fit for this sweet girl. Sheina is dog friendly and enjoys the company of canine friends. She has never been around children, so we're looking for a home with kids 12 and older who can understand that she may need a little extra time and space while she settles in. One of Sheina's favorite parts of the day is spending her mornings outside, patrolling the yard and happily chasing birds before settling down for a long afternoon nap in the sunshine. Because she feels comfortable having that safe outdoor space, a secure, fenced in yard is required for her future home. Sheina may have a little more to learn about being a family dog than some, but there's something incredibly special about getting to be the person who teaches a dog like her that home means soft beds, quiet evenings, treats from the kitchen, and people who aren't going anywhere. The first step toward adopting Sheina is completing our application. Once received, we'll review it to see if you and this sweet girl may be a good match!
