About Radar

Radar is a brindle Dutch Shepherd mix. We found Radar dumped on the street by his owners back in September 2025. Our original intention was to adopt him out to become a service dog to an active Veteran, a police dog, or a farmer's dog. Radar is a gorgeous Dutch Shepherd mix, high energy but also loves to cuddle in his humans' laps. When we found him, my father was very sick and eventually died a month after we found Radar. Radar cuddled up to me whenever I grieved my father's loss, without being asked. We have 2 large doodles and he plays very well with them. He needs to be needed, to be on the go. My husband and I both work long hours, and just do not have the time to devote to his energetic nature. He loves us and we love him, but we are doing him a disservice by keeping him when he would be better off making a difference helping others or be with someone who needs him. We would truly love to see him go to a partner who loves adventures outdoors, hiking, running, swimming, or whatever other adventures can be found.
