About Kaskade

��ե Meet Kaskade! ��ե Kaskade is an adorable adult brown tabby girl, estimated to be somewhere between 4 and 6 years old, with the BIGGEST, tallest ears that you seriously just want to kiss. ���%8D She is sweet, kind, affectionate and just wants love and attention. She also does well with other cats and is an all-around wonderful girl. Kaskade recently showed up in an area where some kind people were already feeding another cat. They started feeding her too, even put flea medication on her, but they knew that simply helping her survive outside wasn't enough. Thankfully, they reached out to us and asked if we could take her too. And we are SO glad they did. When Kaskade went in to be spayed and have her medical workup completed, the veterinarian discovered a small mass. It was removed and sent out for biopsy. The pathology was not completely conclusive. The mass had features that meant a cancerous growth could not be ruled out, but a benign mass could not be ruled out either. The really good news? �%9D%A4��%8F The mass was removed with clear margins, there was no evidence that it had spread to other areas, and Kaskade is otherwise healthy. Her medical team was pleased that the mass was small, that they were able to get clear margins and that there was no evidence of spread. Moving forward, her family will simply need to keep an eye on her and share her medical records with their veterinarian so she can continue to be monitored. And we can't help but think about what might have happened if she had remained outside. If those kind people hadn't noticed her. If they hadn't reached out. If she had continued trying to survive outdoors for another year or two, who knows how different her story could have been? Instead, Kaskade got lucky. The mass was found. It was removed. And now this sweet girl gets the chance to live the good life she deserves - with you. �%9D%A4��%8F And seriously, wait until you meet her.
