About BEAUTY - NYC Rescue

Adorable BEAUTY, a loving family dog, is in grave danger at the cruel high-kill pound in New York City. The pound plans to kill her for convenience very soon. BEAUTY, a beautiful 4-year-old brindle brown and white Pitbull-mix weighing 49 pounds, grew up surrounded by kids, toys, laughter, and another dog she adored. BEAUTY was a devoted and affectionate companion who followed her family everywhere and cherished the comfort of home. BEAUTY wasn't surrendered because she did anything wrong. Instead, she lost everything because her family's landlord refused to allow pets. Now, she trembles in a shelter kennel, scared, confused, and running out of time. Shelter life is breaking her heart. BEAUTY is used to gentle voices, loving hands, and the warmth of family. Instead, she clings to anyone who offers comfort because she's so heartbroken, not because she is broken. To the contrary, even in the horrible kill pound, BEAUTY has been loving to everyone she meets! BEAUTY has only a day or two left unless a foster or adopter can offer her the safe, loving home she truly deserves. BEAUTY is friendly, social, loves to play, and is dog-friendly. She walks nicely on leash, knows commands, and loves being close to her people. She is also spayed, up-to-date on all shots, and in perfect health.
