About Sam - Sam is a handsome 7-year-old grey cat with a distinctive white marking on his nose. He is a deeply loyal, affectionate, and devoted companion to 'his person.' If you are looking for a cat who will greet you at the door, follow you around the house, sit by your side, and sleep on your bed, Sam is your guy. In fact, I named him Sam after 'Samwise', Frodo's loyal friend from the Lord of the Rings movies. Ideal Home & Environment - Must be the ONLY pet: Sam has a strong, confident personality and high drive, meaning he does not like sharing his space with other cats or dogs. He thrives when he gets 100% of the household attention. Adult or Quiet Household: Best suited for a home without young children where he can enjoy a calm, predictable routine. Indoor Life: I took Sam in from the street. He is now adapted to indoor life and does great when provided with window perches, scratching posts, and routine playtime. He also loves hanging out in a catio if you have one. Health Note - Sam has a mild, common feline eye condition (chronic viral eye sensitivity). It requires minimal ongoing management-keeping an eye out for minor flare-ups during stress, which are easily managed with basic vet-recommended supplements or eye drops. He is otherwise healthy, active, and fully vetted.
