About BONNIE & CLYDE

Boxer
Age: Puppy

TWO ADORABLE 1 YR OLD WHITE BOXERS BONNIE (FEMALE- ID #A5791946) & CLYDE (MALE-ID #A5791945) AT BALDWIN PARK SHELTER IN BALDWIN PARK SO CAL NEED THEIR FOREVER HOMES (TOGETHER OR SEPARATELY) OR A FOSTER & RESCUE!! WHO CAN HELP? Bonnie and Clyde were brought in as owner surrenders. They are 1 yr old and are 54 lb (Bonnie), while Clyde weighs 61 lb, and most likely are siblings. Both dogs have been altered, vaccinated and ready-to-go to their forever home(s)! Be sure to watch their adorable videos on FB at: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10169422187763125&id=783968124&mibextid=wwXIfr Bonnie & Clyde are incredibly friendly and sweet, do well with other dogs, & enjoyed getting their baths today. Note: both Bonnie & Clyde are in separate kennels as there is not adequate room in the kennel for 2 dogs. However, you will note in the videos they really enjoy seeing each other. Shelter notes indicate '(Clyde) was easily retrieved (from the kennel) and led to the catch pen bypassing the neighboring kennels. Once inside the catch pen, Clyde maintained a slightly tense posture, avoiding eye contact with the dogs behind the fence during collar and leash placement. Clyde was guided into the yard as he hesitated to enter on his own. He began to greet the other dogs, exhibiting a slightly tense posture and a high stiff tail. Clyde hard froze during frontal interactions without escalating, though he required steering away to prevent an altercation. As he continued to sniff the other dogs he met along the way, his body began to soften appearing neutral with a relaxed tail. Clyde occasionally approached the handlers allowing them to pet him. He was tolerant when one of the dogs playfully jumped on him. For the remainder of the session, Clyde coexisted peacefully in the yard, showing no interest in engaging in play the other dogs. Once the session concluded, he was returned to his kennel without incident. Clyde could benefit from continued socialization in a yard setting with calm dogs where he can interact at his own comfort level and gradually develop his social skills.' We are told that Bonnie's behavior on intake was friendly & her FAS level was 1. As such, she does not have any other behavior notes. Their medical and behavior notes are available upon request.
