About Finn

We are in an unfortunate situation of having to rehome our almost 3 year old male mini-goldendoodle. We have tried for almost 2 years to make it work but the issue is fighting between him and another male dog in the house. It has just continued to escalate every time. Please no negative comments or advice. We have done everything we can including intense training with a professional specializing in this behavioral issue and we have learned to recognize all triggers to avoid the fighting. My husband was seriously injured yesterday breaking them apart. Finn is fixed and up to date on all shots and chipped. We are located in Massachusetts north of Boston and also Hebron, Maine. Finn is used to being in a home with a large fenced in yard and a doggy door and spends time in Maine great on recall. He loves to swim and is super energetic. He is crate trained. Fine with cats and with our female dog. He has been socialized with other dogs and though he growled at one male dog, he has not gotten into any fights with them so I'm not sure how he would be with other male dogs. This is a very heart-breaking decision, but we are really at our wits end here and need everyone to be safe including the dogs as we fear one of them or us will be seriously injured.
