Currently overweight at 14 lbs. He will be 3 years old in December of 2026. Charlie will be neutered on the 18th of August 2026. Charlie is current on vaccinations (Rabies, DAPPv, Bordetella) Charlie is house & crate trained. Charlie does well on a leash with a harness. Charlie will wear a belly band indoors but will not soil it unless there are odors too strong for him to deal with. Charlie will alert you when he needs to go outside. Charlie will hit the bell on the door if you have one hanging in his reach to let you know he wants out. Charlie is good with toddlers & most other dogs as well as cats. Charlie is a bit leery of strangers & protective of his space & people. Charlie's previous owners did not believe in neutering male dogs. Charlie's previous owners did not socialize Charlie with many other adults, so we are working on that. Charlie has been socialized with other animals here at the rescue while boarding on many occasions as well as with rescue staff & kennel hands at our boarding facility. Charlie's previous owner had discussed with a local (*known 'to pad the bill for her own financial gain' veterinarian) that Charlie may have knee issues, however, knowing the reputation of the veterinarian in question they felt she was simply trying to bilk money out of them and did not trust her judgment as none of the other veterinarians Charlie had seen had mentioned any issue and the veterinarian in question never put anything in writing. Charlie will come with all of his veterinary records as well as those from his breeder. The adoption fee for Charlie will be the expense of his Neuter, heart-worm test, microchip, & groom. (Receipts will be included.) $350.00 IS THE ESTIMATE - IT MAY BE LOWER - IT MAY BE HIGHER - WE WILL NOT KNOW UNTIL AFTER HIS VET VISIT!
