About Ava

Ava needs a family after being saved in a rural TN shelter. Ava is a beautiful 2-3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. She absolutely loves life and wants to be involved in everything her family is doing. Ava is: High energy and playful Loves other dogs and enjoys being part of the pack Has absolutely no concept of personal space-if you're sitting down, she's already trying to cuddle! Takes correction well from other dogs when they tell her to back off Crate trained, but she'd much rather be out with her people Leash trained House training is very manageable with a consistent routine Smart, eager to learn, and responds well to guidance. We truly believe Ava just never had anyone teach her the basics before she came to us. She acts like she was left to figure life out on her own. With patience, structure, and love, she continues to improve every day. Ava would thrive with an active family that enjoys walks, hikes, playing in the yard, or simply spending time together. She doesn't just want a home-she wants to be part of the family and included in every adventure.
