About HANDSOME LEBLANC!!!

The shelter is often FULL, which means some great doggies end up getting euthanized for lack of space! Which dogs are chosen is a crapshoot. LeBlanc arrived at the shelter on July 25, owner surrender, which puts him at even greater risk, since owners sign paperwork, stating a tragic ending could be the outcome. He is reported to be 7 years old, labeled as an Alaskan Husky, but Rescue Me does not give that option. In his handling video, he seems stressed, not surprising, especially considering the breed, as often looking out through the fence as if searching for a way out or back to his people, who aren't coming back for him, sadly. LeBlanc has a leash test with a Pit Bull type mix, female doggie, in which he did well. If interested in seeing the videos, please just ask.
