About Bailey

Bailey is a merle Aussie with 1 1/3 watch eyes. He has been around cats, other dogs (besides his brother), horses, cows, chickens, pigs, and goats. He is not fond of farm animals but would prefer to just avoid them. He is more inclined to agility-type activities, preferring to catch a frisbee or ball. He barks when people come to the door or when a car pulls into the driveway. In June 2026, Bailey showed aggression toward a new puppy in the home where he was. That owner had to get rid of him, so we took him back. There was also an incident between Bailey and my 4 year old in late July 2026 that I can explain over the phone. Aside from these two incidents, Bailey has been a great dog. We need him rehomed because we no longer have the space he deserves so he can run. This has led to him bolting out the front door when it's opened and running through weak spots in the backyard fence, and I have had to chase him up to 1/4 mile before 'catching' him (he refuses to come to us when we call him, but he will come to a stranger). I have young children at home and can't keep chasing him.
