Nix came to us from HSSA after being found with his deceased owner and 4 legged housemate. He was initially pretty traumatized and does also have some separation anxiety (understandably) so would do best with someone home most of the time though the fosters have seen some improvement as he has settled in. Nix is 8 years old and around 15 lbs and is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He gets along well with cats and and would likely do fine with respectful gentle children. Nix just had a 2nd low titre so will be able to wean off valley fever meds but of course will still need to be monitored to ensure that it does not return and would benefit from liver support just like most dogs with a history of the disease He will also require meds for dry eye, and also has somewhat of a sensitive stomach so the fosters are figuring out what diet works best for him. Nix walks nicely on a leash and is housebroken with regular opportunities to get out and uses potty pads when that is not possible. He is not a fan of the crate but also has nice house manners so can be allowed to free roam without issue. TO APPLY https://form.jotform.com/cherishedtails/dog-application
